Federica Pericle, Ph.D., MBA

Dr. Federica Pericle joined Agennix in August 2002 as a consultant in immunology and cancer research. Previously Dr. Pericle was the Director of the Cancer Product Discovery Program at Valentis, Incorporated (former Genemedicine) in The Woodlands, Texas. She has also worked as Senior Scientist in the Experimental Immunology Branch of the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, MD. Dr. Pericle has 15 years of research experience in the fields of cancer gene therapy, tumor biology, immunology/signal transduction and cancer immunotherapy. She has led the research development of 10 product candidates for the treatment of cancer and has published over 30 scientific articles in peer-review journals. Dr. Pericle received her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences in 1988 from Turin University in Italy and has a Specialization in Immunology/Cancer Immunotherapy from the University of South Florida. She also holds an MBA from Texas A&M University.
