Ralph D. Feigin, M.D.

Dr. Feigin is the former President of Baylor College of Medicine. He is also the J.S. Abercrombie Professor of Pediatrics and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, as well as Dean of Medical Education. He serves as Physician-in-Chief of the Texas Children's Hospital. In addition, he is Physician-in-Chief, Pediatric Services, Ben Taub General Hospital (Harris County Hospital District), and Chief of the Pediatric Service, The Methodist Hospital in Houston. Dr. Feigin is an internationally recognized expert in pediatric infectious diseases and has over 400 published articles or chapters in journals and books. He is co-author and co-editor of the following books: Nutrition and the Developing Nervous System (Mosby, 1975); Textbook of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (Saunders, 1981, 1987, 1992); Roundsmanship A Yearbook Guide to Clinical Medicine ('89, '90, '91, '92, '93, and '94); Principles and Practice of Pediatrics (Lippincott, 1990, 1994). He is Editor-in-Chief of Seminars in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Associate Editor for Pediatrics. Dr. Feigin received his M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine.
